CHANGE OF SEASON:
I find myself going through a season of change and feel that the focus of this blog needs to change. While the previous focus was very specific it was also limiting so I feel the need to broaden the scope. The new focus will encompass the old.
The new focus of this blog is to love and glorify God in all that we learn and study and implement in our homeschool journey. While the philosophy(a biblically principled approach…searching for God and His Truth in all that we study) remains the same the focus changes; it shifts(back to) God and only God…and loving Him with everything we are and everything we have.
My aim:
[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [[a]which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death
It follows then that this blog chronicles:
– our love for God
– our search for God’s wisdom for our lives and our pursuit to know Him better
– our discovery of God and His principles in every area/topic/subject we study
– our application of God’s wisdom/principles to our lives
I pray something in this blog will inspire you to seek after the Lord with all that you have within you. I pray that something written here will aid you in your quest to discover His principles from His Word and apply them to homeschooling HIS children. Finally, I pray that what is documented here will be used by the Lord to bring you into closer, more intimate relationship with Him, thereby strengthening your faith in - and your dependence on - Him and Him alone.
