  • When it was time God took Moses out of Egypt
  • In spite fo paganism in Egypt Moses believed in the God of his forefathers

subjects covered: ART (of Moses-Egypt)

  • study how the Egyptians depicted ’subject matter’ in their sculputure/painting
  • give assignment on depicting selected ’subject matter’ in art assignment

I plan 2 weeks for this unit. Sometimes I feel this is not intricate enough but I’ve decided not to sweat it. Once I’m in the study other ideas may come up but my objective here is just to introduce my children to the principle(they already know the story of Moses) and do a little ‘expansion’ on the subject and principle.
